HOW IT WORKS-

PRICKLY PEAR EXTRACT: the extract of a desert plant that thrives in the most hostile environment. This cactus comes from a regenerative organic farming crop in Puglia, in southern Italy. The active is obtained from the blades and is rich in mucopolysaccharides, substances capable of binding water for effective moisturizing action. The synergy of the molecules of the phytoextract is capable of fortifying the skin through stimulation of KGF, a factor of keratinocyte growth factor. By activating KGF, the extract enables the skin to regain a hydrated state faster and also preserve it against aggressions external factors that, by weakening the skin barrier, cause of dehydration.

MACRO HYALURONIC ACID (0.1%): a strongly hydrating hygroscopic molecule that has the ability to retain 1000 times it's own weight in water. It quenches the skin and maintains its softness.

BETAINE: obtained from sugar beet, it is an osmolyte naturally present in the  human body that can bind and draw water inside cells while maintaining their volume and optimal state of hydration even in the presence of external changes. It is also a natural component of NMF (natural moisturizing factor) and preserves the integrity of the tight junctions in the  stratum corneum for the maintenance of the physiological barrier function.

ABYSSINIA OIL: it is rich in omega 3 and 6, tocopherals and phytosterols to nourish the skin. The oil gives a wonderful sensory experience, immediately leaving the skin softer, brighter and more velvety.
